About Monica

With a background in Advertising, a degree in TV Production & Business, a passion for Makeup Artistry and a love for music, it’s no wonder that Monica’s creativity is constantly flowing. At the height of the pandemic in 2020, Monica unexpectedly returned to her musical roots after a 25+ year hiatus away from the keys and only 11 months of lessons at age 8, to help serve as a healing outlet from all the angst. What started out one random day as a “tickling of the keys” transformed into something much more miraculous and beautiful. Over the last two years, she traded in her commute for teaching herself how to play the piano and has taken the time to “figure it out” every day. Through so much darkness, pain and numbness, healing and light were found through the music she played and the composers she loved. Her works are inspired by some of her favorite Classical artists, Beethoven, Mozart Debussy & Chopin.

As an extension to her production/advertising career, Monica also found her calling in makeup artistry and has turned her passion for it into a full-on side hustle, owning and operating her Award-Winning business, MoJoGlow Makeup Artistry.

While her philosophy with finding one’s inner “MoJo” is a perfect combination of her nickname, Monica truly got back in touch with her MoJo and her own internal glow has been able to help uplift and inspire others along the way.

She believes in setting goals, focusing on your dreams and believing in yourself. When you believe in yourself, your potential becomes limitless. The impossible simply becomes “I’m Possible”.

Everything that you hear on her albums are entirely self-taught since May 2020.
